The purpose of our Consulting business is to provide a number services so as to equip, you the buyer, with as much information as needed to make an educated decision about your future two way radio purchase and your future two way radio plans. From a radio communications perspective, industrial environments are usually characterized by high electrical noise levels, high ambient audio levels, coverage challenges due to significant metal buildings infrastructure and hostile atmosphere to electronic equipment. Radios and radios systems should be optimized to cater for these environments.

As well, in an industrial environment special consideration must be given to the OH&S requirements.  As such, systems must be constructed to be fault tolerant and include safety features such as ‘All Informed’ broadcast, Emergency Calling and Incident Management.  Although these are often just extra talk-groups included in the radio programming, these special groups must also include the unique functionality of priority transmission and assertive interrupt.  These facilities need to be part of the system design.
